Marc McAllister
Senior Pastor
Pastor Marc McAllister currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Arlington Southern Worship Center in Arlington, Texas. He is a graduate of Southwestern Adventist University in Keene, Texas, where he earned dual degrees: a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology and a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Business Administration. Pastor McAllister is also a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, where he earned the Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree, and a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, where he earned the Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) Degree.
Pastor McAllister completed two years of pastoral internship at Abney Chapel Seventh-day Adventist Church in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and Crowley Seventh-day Adventist Church in Crowley, Texas, through the Southwestern Adventist University pastoral internship program. He has also served faithfully as a Volunteer Lay Pastor within the Texas Conference.
Before answering God’s call to pastoral ministry, Pastor McAllister honorably served for 12 years in the United States Army as a Combat Medic. During his military career, he was a paratrooper assigned to the prestigious 82nd Airborne Division. He also served in several leadership roles in healthcare administration, overseeing medical clinics and multiple healthcare departments at Womack Army Medical Center at Fort Liberty, North Carolina (formerly Fort Bragg).
Pastor McAllister is passionate about preaching the gospel, teaching the Word of God, and helping individuals develop a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ. His ministry emphasizes biblical truth, practical discipleship, evangelism, and spiritual transformation.
His favorite Bible verse is Galatians 2:20 (NKJV):
“I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
Pastor McAllister is happily married to his wife of fourteen years, Thamard, and together they are the proud parents of four children: Aeden, Aalisha, Brayden, and Adryanna.
